The Task Force on Family Violence (TFFV) provides advocacy, education and resources to keep people safe. Since 1975, the Task Force on Family Violence has been a leader in addressing the problem of domestic violence and the needs of survivors in our community. TFFV is a private, non-profit organization that provides services for all adult victims of abuse, children who have been abused or have witnessed domestic violence and women perpetrators of violence.
The TFFV operates programs designed to address the needs of victims, abused children, families and batterers. These programs are the Courthouse Advocacy Program, Legal Emergency Assistance Program, Children’s Advocacy Program, Child Witness to Domestic Violence Project, Ending Violence through Education and When Violence Comes to Work. Agency services are provided in English, Spanish, and Russian.
For the past 30 years, the Task Force has been at the forefront of fighting intimate partner and family violence in the Greater Milwaukee area. We are proud of our past, and look forward to the future in building peaceful communities.
