Pettit National Ice Center Inc. (The Pettit) is a Wisconsin not-for-profit corporation, located in the City of Milwaukee. As a U.S. Olympic Training Site, the Pettit Center has helped many U.S. speed skaters (several from Wisconsin) attain their dreams of winning Olympic medals, and has provided a location for frequent national and international competitions.
The Pettit wanted a site redesign not only to make their site more appealing, but also to give them the flexibility of editing content and images easily. The Pettit was familiar with editing their site through Adobe Dreamweaver and Adobe Contribute, however their last site made it difficult to update anything outside of their content area. Ascedia designed and built their new website using CSS styling so that, in addition to easy content updates, they now have the ability to easily update images and navigation.
