Follow beCause: Ascedia is pleased to announce the launch of the new website for the Donald Driver Foundation http://www.donalddriverfoundation.com. Through the beCause program we were able to provide an improved design and architecture of the site and integrated it into a WordPress CMS. Not only is the foundation able to maintain the website themselves but they are also able to collect event registration and payment online, showcase videos and images directly on the site, promote social media and sharing, collect inquiries online, and better represent their mission for the foundation.
The Donald Driver Foundation focuses on specializing in underprivileged children, health, wellness, safety, and education/career development. The foundation works in conjunction with shelters and counselors, supports Blessings in a Backpack and partners with the American Red Cross, Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, MACC fund, and Goodwill’s Workforce Connection Centers. The mission of the Donald Driver Foundation is to display Strong Hands, Strong Minds, and Loving Hearts to serve as a hand up, not a hand out.
The Donald Driver Foundation was a strong candidate for the beCause program due to the amazing work it does for the community. As one of five children growing up in inner-city Houston, many times Donald Driver found himself wondering where he would lay his head at night. Because of the pain that these memories hold for him, he is highly dedicated to and passionate about helping underprivileged children and families.
